Instructions
Rule #1: Cook to taste, not measurements—trust your instincts!
1. Cook the Pasta:
- In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Add sea salt (enough to make it as salty as the ocean).
- Once boiling, add fettuccine noodles and cook until al dente (soft with a slight bite).
- Drain most of the pasta water, but reserve 1 to 1½ cups in a measuring cup for later.
2. Sauté the Proteins and Veggies:
(This step can be done while the pasta cooks.)
- Heat a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a dollop of olive oil and a spoonful of minced garlic.
- Add sliced Andouille sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in ½ stick of salted butter.
For raw seafood:
- Remove the sausage, add raw shrimp and lobster bites, and cook until firm.
For Raw Seafood
- Add the shrimp and lobster bites directly to the pan after the sausage is browned.
- Toss the sausage back into the pan with the seafood. Add mushrooms and sauté until softened.
- Stir in spinach until it wilts slightly.
3. Season Everything:
- Sprinkle generously with Kinder’s The Blend and Old Bay seasoning.
- Mix everything well, then reduce the heat to low.
4. Combine with Pasta:
- Transfer the pasta to the pan with your sautéed mix.
- Add 1–2 jars of Bertolli Garlic Alfredo Sauce, stirring until the pasta is fully coated.
- If the sauce feels too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water for a silkier texture.
5. Serve and Enjoy:
- Plate your Surf and Turf Alfredo Pasta. For extra flavor and presentation, top with parsley and shredded or grated mozzarella cheese.
Dig in and enjoy the perfect balance of land and sea flavors!
